Philadelphia Museum of Art: From Contemporary Art to its Iconic Steps

Sitting atop the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, is one of the largest museums in the United States. Inspired by Greek architecture, the Philadelphia Museum of Art is perhaps best known for something else - boxer Rocky Balboa ran up its famous steps while training for the big fight in the 1976 film, Rocky. Today, visitors from around the world can do the same, taking in the amazing view of Philly at the top. Step inside the museum to tour over 200 galleries and 240,000 objects of international masterpieces in painting, sculpture, photography, textiles, and architecture ranging from Renaissance and Impressionist to modern pieces.
